Fellow you have no idea about dysfunctional health care. Come to B.C., Canada, particularly Vancouver Island, Town of Duncan. Broke my hip, hit my head -- two days in the corridors of an ER waiting for surgery. Then someone operated on me - have no idea who, as I NEVER EVER saw a doctor. In hospital a month without heat - NO HEAT EVEN IN HOSPITAL.
I am in a hospital without doctors and without heat.
But, hey, they had paid walkers. That's right paid walkers - people paid to walk with a patient. No previous medications given, but, hey, we had Big Pharma come in with drug representatives who changed all our previous medications to PRESCRIBED VITAMINS. I kid you not. My son had to buy $300 of such nonsense before they would discharge me. Held hostage until the hospital got its $300 plus bag of prescribed vitamins.
Have never seen a doctor. Was told that the final bandage/dressing could only come off by the surgeon. Well, it got tired, and partially came off in the shower at home and I pulled it the rest of the way. Yes, I have an ugly red scar, so someone did operate on me - but I wonder who???
Dysfunctional - unoperational - a bloody mess. No, B.C. has no health "care" - we have a health system both dysfunctional and unoperating. Other provinces all remark when the thought of joining the USA comes up, they would miss their free medical care. Boy, am I in the wrong Province. We have none.
