My feeling is Musk suggested they go with someone else and Gaetz got the nod from Trump for all his loyalty, but not so loyal as to disrupt the whole nomination process for others. He is almost an insane individual, he is asking the awful question and smiling at the same time. What do they have in mind for him? Should Trump die in office, would he be considered for the VP? Or, are they saving him for Director of FBI?
