  1. The technology is only as good as the Faro scan operators. If they are not well versed in the technology they could screw it up royally. I have seen where MCAT trained officers made huge mistakes in a different case. They didn't know what they were doing. The case was ruled accidental in the end. The other issue is in collection of evidence. If they missed collecting evidence at the scene the faro scan cannot bring it from virtual reality to be examined
