  4. This whole thing is a bit of political theater. No one denies that immigrants cost us in the short-term. They benefit us more than they cost, in the long-term. What the Governor of NY should do is deport convicts convicted of gun-crimes to Florida when they finish their sentences and get released. Florida wants to expand gun-rights, and let convicts own guns, and make it easier for everyone to get guns, so they shouldn't object to receiving NY's gun-criminals. Right?
