  1. Was it really an airstrike? Current evidence seems to favor the hypothesis that it was a rocket fired from somewhere within Gaza. And I don’t think we know yet how many people were killed. If it had been an Israeli airstrike, it probably would’ve destroyed a building, not a parking area.

  2. This is not like someone being shot by a sniper. You can’t generally see, from a satellite video, what a sniper is doing, or has done. In contrast, you CAN see, from satellite video, what a rocket is doing or has done. The truth about this will out.

  3. It should certainly be easy to determine where the rocket came from, using satellite images. And it’s worth, noting that we are not yet at the point where persuasive, deep fakes could be published and not detected. If Israel did this, they won’t be able to conceal it very long; neither will Hamas or anyone else be able to conceal if it came from within Gaza.
