Trump has successfully weathered, many kinds of accusations and exposures of sexual improprieties. But raping a 13-year-old girl is another question altogether.

  4. Longtime Trump hater here, but I have to say I watched at least one of the times he said he would “be a dictator only on day one”, And he definitely said it with a twinkle in his eye, as a joke. Probably a joke whose point was the same as Professor Lichtman’s - the ridiculous idea that anyone would be dictator only on day one. He was denigrating the worry of him being dictator by making this paradoxical quip, not making a serious promise about anything.
