RE: "If they don’t look for it they don’t have to deal with it!" Wrong! If you don't look for it someone else will. Hence, this article. The question is does it matter or not? mRNA itself is not a problem. The question is how much of the antigenic protein is being made, and when. That's what we should be measuring, and then study whether or not it does anything worse than getting the virus does.

I said at the beginning, mRNA should be a rapid-response, temporary measure. We should switch to protein-vaccines, so we can be quite sure how much protein the patients are getting. Maybe warp-speed was too fast. On the other hand, it's not clear that there's a problem. So the mRNA lasts longer in the patient than we expected before. Who cares? With most immunizations, longer is better. What matters in the end is not how long or how much mRNA there is. What matters is how much protein there is. That's what we need to know next.
