  1. At least the government cannot force you to complete a pregnancy if you prefer to have it aborted. Oh, wait a minute: yes it can. Communist China required people to have small families, and to have abortions when they got pregnant.. But Communist Romania required people to have large ones and banned abortions, and, (unlike any other country in the history of the world) actually enforced their ban with secret police and mandated gyn inspections! The only good way is to let people decide for themselves when to have children and when to have abortions.
