The pheromone bomb was the basis of a fantastic short story by (of all people) Roald Dahl, author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The short story was published first in Playboy magazine, and its title was "Bitch".

"The Twilight Zone" was nowhere near the first instance of someone being surprised by his own ability to read minds. It happened, hilariously, in Wagner's opera SIEGFRIED, which premiered in 1876. Here's the scene, Siegfried reads the mind of the evil dwarf Mime (pronounced "Mimmy") who is trying to poison him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Y2-aiKrvAw&t=8100s

Unless I blinked and missed one, you have omitted the most important scientific advancement of 2022: the successful lab synthesis in bulk of tetrataenite, using a phosphorus catalyst. Tetrataenite can be used to make very strong permanent magnets, almost as strong as the ones made from alloys which include rare-earth metals. Permanent magnets are used in all devices which convert electrical energy to mechanical energy (and vice-versa), from electric cars to wind-turbines to fans in computers for cooling the circuitry. This holds out the best hope of seriously reducing our need for rare-earth metals, which are horribly polluting to dig up, and are mostly controlled by the Chinese government. Tetrataenite is MUCH more likely to make us greener and freer than the fusion experiments which everyone fussed about so much. It was the subject of an NPR report a few weeks ago. You can look it up!

I would rate three songs as tied for best: The Beat, I Don't Want to Go to Chelsea, and I'm not Angry. Second best: Accidents Will Happen, Oliver's Army, and Goon Squad. After the ARMED FORCES album, he went mainstream and lost his edge.

Most difficult songs to sing? "The Star-Spangled Banner" (It's very rangy and ridiculously difficult to sing well; the melody was originally a British drinking song) "Der Zwerg" by Schubert. And Iago's Credo in Verdi's opera OTELLO

Like so many comic-book stories this origin-story is lifted from opera. In this case the opera is Wagner’s DIE WALKÜRE. Look it up!
