  6. Type 1 diabetes; symptoms began when she was seven years old. That is NOT “a Healthy 69 year old”. That is time to get your house in order. It’s nice that she is taking good care of herself for most of her life but the benefits for that usually come in the form of being less likely to die in your 20s 30s 40s or 50s. They don’t usually get you much More longevity after you turn 70 or so. Smart, diabetes-educated folks know: If she gets to 76 without losing a leg or going blind or dying, of course, it will be a statistical miracle. Hoping for a miracle is not a strategy.

  7. NY should respond by sending convicts who have completed their sentences for gun-crimes to Texas. Since Texas likes guns and thinks they should be more readily available to everyone, including gun-criminals who have served their sentences, they won't mind at all, right? They'll welcome the newly-released gun-criminals with open arms, won't they?
