  2.  @MrHws5mp  Could that have been due to the missions flown? IIRC, the 37mm was intended as a bomber-killer, but was less than ideal for combat with fighters. For ground attack, it would be easy to see why the Soviets liked it--same as the PT boat sailors using it against barges.
