  2. Thanks for putting this series together! Now that I have seen some of the developmental history, the pistol is much more interesting to me. I shot a .45 XD a long time ago, and wasn't too impressed, but since I lean toward service-type firearms, I'm giving it a second look, YouTube gun snobs notwithstanding.
