  1. This reminds me of discussion of AKs made during the '94-'04 Assault Weapons Ban regarding rifles made with 'single feed' bolts. The issue was whether rifles with such bolts were less reliable than standard double-feed bolts. The ban rifles were built to function with single-column 10 rd mags. WASR rifles come to mind.
