  1. The DA/SA without a decocking function was rather popular at the time. Early CZ-75s, as well as early Beretta/Taurus 92 pattern pistols were set up this way. I've seen it mentioned that the pistols were supposed to be carried chamber empty, and the DA function was to provide a second-strike capability on a balky cartridge, if needed. And yes, I like the functional look as well.
