  1. Another movie icon--Beretta 92 from 'Die Hard' and 'Lethal Weapon' My understanding was that the N-frame goes back to the turn of the 20th century for the magnum's daddy, the .44 Special. THIS was the revolver that Keith used to cook up the magnum round, and was adapted for the magnum cartridge. Since the 29 can shoot the Special very comfortably, it pretty much killed the market for .44 Spl revolvers. Overall, it fit the primary reason for buying a gun very admirably--I WANT IT!!! :D
