  1. If you absolutely have to have a unique 1911... At 1400m, volley fire would be hilarious; the terminal effect would probably be a bit like thrown gravel.

  2.  @Erpyrikk  So true. Long ago, I read an article about just how grimly effective slings could be at long range. IIRC, they rivaled bows. If I had to take the awful choice, I'd rather be shot with a pistol than hit by a slung lead bullet.
