  3.  @lairdcummings9092  I can usually figure out what's being said as well, especially if I can see the speaker's face. There are always those few whose accent is so heavy it's almost another language. OTOH, though I'm a lifelong Southerner, I spent so much time in front of a TV, I have almost no accent.
