Who is looking to take money away from those that have worked hard for it? That's what capitalists do. Of course life is about choices. Everyone knows that. The point is that under capitalism your choices are extremely limited. For example, the USA now comes in at number 27 on the social Mobility index. Things are so bad that over 54% of the US population can't even read or write. Money doesn't necessarily buy happiness, but how happy can you be if you don't have anything and you have to spend most of your time working just to pay bills? Look at how many people now have most of their income going to rent? Imagine working for 3 weeks and getting paid absolutely nothing because that's how many working hours it takes just to cover your rent.

You're honestly unaware of the fact that capitalism causes poverty? Seriously? What lifted people out of poverty was the fight against capitalism. And now that the working class is no longer in a position to actually keep up the pressure against capitalism, we see massive amounts of poverty expansion in the united states. The richest 1% now has almost as much wealth as a poor as 91% of the American population. USA now comes in at number 27 on the social Mobility index which is worse than Portugal and Lithuania. Poverty is so widespread now in the United States that over 54% of the population can no longer read or write. Over 25% of the population has some form of mental illness. And it's estimated that 50% of the population will develop a mental illness at some point in their lifetime. I don't know where you ever got this idea that capitalism most people out of poverty. That doesn't even make any sense. Capitalism is the maximization of capital accumulation for the purpose of extracting as much wealth from resources and labor as possible. The resources in capital go to the richest members of society. The more Capital you have, the faster your wealth grows in relation to everyone else. Those that don't have access to capital, the vast majority of the population, they have no choice but to sell their labor just so that they can eat and pay bills. Mic drop? Why would you say that? Russia is no longer socialist. You think the doctor should move there because it was once socialist? Also, the idea is to reform your own community and Country. Not just keep running off to the most advantageous countries. If the majority of the people had that kind of mindset, the United States would be still stuck in the dark ages of capitalism, where you had nine year old children working 7 days a week, 14 hours a day, no consumer safety standards, no old age pensions, no worker safety, just massive profits for individuals such as jpmorgan, Rockefeller and Carnegie. The middle class owes its prosperity to the labor movement. Today we do see a lot of Americans actually moving to China! And now the United States is quickly reverting back to where it used to be when it was it's most capitalist. Basically, the United States is now a third world country for many of its citizens. Thanks to a massive propaganda apparatus and concentration of media ownership by the richest members of society, most Americans don't really understand how bad things actually are. For example, over 54% of Americans can no longer read or write! And things are going to get a lot worse. 5 years ago the United States came in at number 27 on the social Mobility index. That's even worse than Portugal and Lithuania! I can't even imagine what it is today.
