  2. Audi is interesting, they design things in such a proud, indignant way 'you will never need to replace this part in a normal vehicle's lifetime, so we will not make it easy to do so'. BMW designers 'We know you will need to replace your entire cooling system in a couple of years, so we made it slightly easier than Audi to replace'. BTW, I own them both, and it's the truth.

  3. Iroz knows their stuff. Unfortunately they've pretty much given up on the older Audi market. I went to them with $5k cash in hand to upgrade my turbo, and talked with them about what parts I would need, and Hank just stopped replying. They have horrible follow through and customer service, unless you're spending $30k probably.

  8. The Harbor Freight tool chest was $3,999.99. It was being compared to the Snap-On which is $6,945. PS, you might have stress from youtube, but you are your own boss, and you are choosing what you want to do and what content you want to share, and when you want to share it. A 'real' job sucks and is completely mind numbing and soul sucking no matter how you justify it.

  10. That's definitely not indicative of how all VAG cars are. But that particular time was a hard time for Audi. They started cheaping out on components. C4's, B5's, and even D2's are all put together way better than this and are much easier to work on.

  13.  @minigpracing3068  You're assuming the car is equal weight between left and right. That's a common misconception. If you look at the position of the engine, you'll see weight is to the right.
