And how many famous people in history have done the same thing and succeeded? And how many people have been prepared and failed? Preparedness obviously improves chances of success, but it doesn't guarantee anything. You can even be so prepared for something that you never leave the house. Planning for every possible outcome not only takes the fun out of things, but it can also paralyze you from taking any action. And sometimes the expense is not practical. Armchair quarterbacks will always criticize those who take action while they go get another bag of chips and dip.
