Problem is that they make normal cars so bad on road, people buy crossovers, which then makes companies think people want crossovers... It's bizarre. With almost all normal cars (Subaru excluded), they try to make them "sporty" and just make them really bad on normal roads. Then people try crossover version, that has less ground clearance and stiffer tires than your average station wagon 20 years ago, and think this is much better...
