  1. Steve Harris has said he specifically wanted someone different. It also took quite lot convincing to accept him back, because he didn't want Maiden to just reduced doing same over and over. I like Blaze too, Virtual XI is good album, even when it's so different. Of course at this point it's pretty impossible to think Iron Maiden without Dickinson, as he's had so huge part in the bands sound especially in 2000's
