  1. It's been a thing in Europe for decades. I was born in 1992 in Finland and have never seen tobacco or hard liquor commercials on TV. Beer commercials used to be allowed after 22:00 or something like that, but even that was removed some decade ago. Now they've even gotten on the ridiculous end that even trucks transtporting alcohol and factories making it can't have labels of alcoholic drinks on them. So now we have non alcoholic versions being advertised with similar labels, with 0,0% tagged on them somewhere 😂

  2. It always annoys me when hearing this type garbage lawsuits requiring donations to fight... Doesn't that completely break the whole justice system in US? If you don't have money, you're just prey for anyone who has. Here in Finland it's always expected if you win the civil case clearly, losing side pays it all. Hence you don't need piles of cash to defend yourself. Which seems to me the only way to make the system actually work?

  3. "Fun" fact: The Deputy Mayor of Helsinki, a capital of Finland, was detained couple of weeks back in midsummerday (traditional finnish drink... holiday) by police for spraying illegal graffitis in some street tunnel wall. He was kind of sheepish in the news next day😅

  4. What I thought as well. I had great parents: They never told me about anything that "it's illegal". In fact, I didn't even thought that could be a thing. Just that no it's wrong to do, or dangerous, unethical etc... Come to think of it... Isn't it pretty adversarial to say you shouldn't do something just because it's illegal? That's pretty much like saying, it's okay if you don't get caught! At least that's how I would have turned it in my head as a kid😅

  5. The whole thing is utterly stupid. Person becomes person in time learning and sensing things. It's impossible to say exactly where the line should be drawn, except at birth. Be it human or whatever, you can't kill something unborn. Let alone murder... Simple as that.

  6. The best way is to just not buy any of those. I ceased to buy Mynthons specifically because of that. Läkerol mint boxes are always properly full, when Mynthons always are some 15 % empty.
