  1. What I thought as well. I had great parents: They never told me about anything that "it's illegal". In fact, I didn't even thought that could be a thing. Just that no it's wrong to do, or dangerous, unethical etc... Come to think of it... Isn't it pretty adversarial to say you shouldn't do something just because it's illegal? That's pretty much like saying, it's okay if you don't get caught! At least that's how I would have turned it in my head as a kid😅
