Admitting the fact that we created a climate crisis means admitting that we need to change a lot of ways we behave. Change is painful and scary for the inbred, and otherwise faulty and deficient humans who have a strong tendency to seek solace in conservatism. So their natural atavistic reaction makes it political, there is nothing we can do about it until we get rid of the degradants with conservative leaning.
