  2. Showers of antimatter pierce through your body every couple of seconds, so it is indeed a fact. Muon and e-p atmospheric showers are very easy to measure, you can build a detector in your garage from scrap. Quite a fun experiment, actually. And it's easy to distinguish electrons from positrons, as well as to see positrons annihilating.
