  2. We need to go back to the good old days when new software developers were seasoned scientists and engineers who also learned to program and started bringing their expertise into coding. We never really needed people who learned to code and nothing else. All those "juniors" were always useless, and "seniors" they grew up into are not any better.

  3. Anything that weeds out self-proclaimed "engineers" with zero engineering certifications and no personal responsibility that comes with the engineer title is very welcome.

  5. ​ @jessehines4044 "consciousness" is a red herring. It is absolutely irrelevant to to topic of AGI, and, quite likely, an entirely meaningless notion altogether. We already have an AGI. Deal with it.
