Not a single worthy job is ever posted, all such vacancies are always filled via network, or through external recruiters. And not only in IT, it's a pretty much universal rule. I have no idea why people still go to job sites and dig into that pile of trash.

@Christophe-Manga there's always a local network. If there are jobs locally, there's a network around those jobs.

@s0nnyburnett you have to know recruiters personally, you have to know engineers from your professional network, etc. I have people from all imaginable industries in my immediate network, if I ever decide to go into something totally new, say, biotech, there will be people who know me from previous professional interactions.
