  1. It's far more interesting than a superconductor. It's ferromagnetic, and, apparently, larger crystals are transparent. How cools is that - a transparent freaking magnet!

  2. It's a weird ferromagnetic. Which makes it far more interesting than any diamagnetic could have been.

  3. We already have high temperature superconductors, working at liquid nitrogen temperatures. So, yes, we know all too well how useless they are, and room temperature ceramic superconductor would not have been any different (if such a thing was even theoretically possible, which is highly doubtful).
