There is a very specific procedure for questioning science, called Scientific Method. Those who usually yell about questioning science do not have mental capacity to apply this method anyway, and can and should be ignored or mocked.

@LupusAries I might end up quoting anyway, since I wrote multiple papers on Scientific Method. In very simple words: Scientific Method is a process of extracting information from data. For the definition of information I refer you to the Algorithmic Infotmation Theory (Kolmogorov, Chaitin). The data suitable for processing through the Scientific Method must conform to a number of requirements: it must be reproducible, complete (as in, contain full instructions on how to reproduce the result independently), must have a numeric representation (pretty much a consequence of reproducibility requirement), and objective (psychology, studing inherenlty subjective data, is a different and a very sad story). That's all. Anything else that anyone might tell you about Scientific Method is irrelevant and redundant. And if your concern is about my assessment of the cognitive capacity of the science deniers (those who yell about questioning science the most) - I do have more than enough data on them to back this conclusion.

A very usual thing to do is to "water" the paper with blah-blah-blah not adding any factual value, simply because the editor insists and says that otherwise this paper was too short.

We build this technology. We do understand it thoroughly. And we have low empathy towards only the awful and worthless humans (like all those bootcamp graduated "developers"). For everyone else we're building the abundance communism.
