  3. ​ @Slarti this is the median. I do not personally know anyone earning less than 80k, so it feels a bit low (and I've no idea hw people can rent anything at all on the London median salary). The jobs sites give a very distorted image of the job market, they only aggregate the bottom of the barrel.

  5.  @balanceis_key  those on zero hour contracts tend to have more than one job. Also, individual salaries do not really make any sense, a more meaningful nimber is a median household income. People on low incomes tend to be supported by their partners. As for.nurses, I know a few, my friend is a nurse in a private clinic. Bus drivers are below 80k, but last time I checked they earned well above 50k. Do not know any in person though.
