  3. He did win in 1 out of 5 disciplines. Which I understand that many fans claim to give importance to but there are other things also important just as much. Bivol won in % of accuracy. Yet when it comes to 1.damage, 2. pressure, 3. overall landed hits and 4. control/pace setting, Beterbiev won in all these categories. It was pretty even with the 9th round. But after Artur took 10, 11 and 12 clearly by running over Bivol the decision was set and Artur was very evidently the better more dominant fighter.

While Beterbiev cornered him, made him ran away and hurt him bad. 1 more round and it would end in a K.o as Bivol was hurt bad and gassed out. Artur seemed like he can go another 5-10 rounds.

  8. ​ @mongo4525 I saw Beterbiev land many good hits to Bivols head clean. And he also did 10x more damage. Bivol was gassed out and hurt at the end. Beterbiev looked like he can go another 10 rounds and would have knocked him out if there was 1 more round.

After the 8th or something I had the impression that they will try to rob Beterbiev even if he'd win. Glad they didn't. The better man took the win and belts home. Beterbiev 7-5 arguably even 8-4 in some points of view.

  15.  @KingDev95  No. The highlight cuts were biased. Just like the commentary and the crowd. Artur won 7 rounds and had the more impact punches in many of them. Yet they didn't show it. It's not just about who landed more, it's also about whose punches had better effects. Boxing is more than just who touched the other more often.

Even when Bivol hit the guard they acted like Bivol landed clean and even when Beterbiev dominated 4 rounds back to back all they said about him was „Beterbiev looks a little Lost“.

I literally was the only one in my group offriends and one of the very few in the world who said that Bivol will also beat Canelo comfortably when the fight was announced when everyone else all thought "Canelo gonna destroy this guy". Even in the boxing world so many boxers were sure Canelo gonna school him. Yet I knew, I was sure that Canelo would definitely get beat by Bivol. I like Bivol very much and also absolutely support him against his crazy wife too. But he just didn't win this fight as so many fanboys cry out as. Many also claim he Mayweathered his way through the fight while he wasn't even close to that level of backwards going control as Floyd is in his fights. Not because he is bad, but because of the relentless effective pressure of Artur. People scream robbery and throw dirt on Arturs performance. He deserved the win and dominated Bivol, almost as much as Bivol once dominated Canelo. And don't get me wrong I like Canelo too. All of em.

That's the level of dominance we witnessed. 1 round; Arturs overhand towards the end of the round. Many seemed to missed it but I didn't. It was the best shot in the round by far. Was it shown in the highlights tho? Nope. That's being biased for you. Artur didn't just fight Bivol that night, he also fought the biased commentators, the biased highlight editors, even Turki himself who was clearly rooting for Bivol in his bodylanguage and the judges. And he still came out victorious. The champ has a name.

PS: yes Artur walked through Bivols best punches like a Juggernaut. They didn't impress him and he cornered Bivol more and more with every round. I believe if they were 1-2 more rounds Bivol would have been knocked out. Artur looked like he can easily go another 10 rounds easy.

  40.  @DieterTietjen  There is a 50/50 chance Artur just acted hurt to lure him in, hence why he punished him bad few secs later. He often does act "hurt" so his opponent runs into his fist which Bivol fell for the trick and got hurt back bad. I also saw Bivol get hurt bad at least 4-5 times, where he even dropped his guard for a few secs out of pain.

And yes, that is true, Bivol did have a higher landing % and he won in that discipline. But he lost in the other 4 clearly. Effectiveness of a punch means if you throw 10, but it feels like nothing for me and I "just" throw 5 and you almost d*e because of mine, shell up and run for your life,.. then I WON that exchange.   49. @mlondymadida  hmm İ now watched the 10th round again cause of your comment. I'm still very sure the 10th belongs to Artur tbh. Out of that round Bivol had like 30-40 seconds where he looked better while Artur looked better in the rest of the 3 minutes chasing him down and very much controlling him and the Pace. But yeah I'm just happy we got such a fantastic fight anyways. Would have been cooler if Bivol didn't wait till Artur was 40 tho
