Exactly ! Surely ANYONE that does NOT accept those values that were HARD WON, and therefore have NO intention to assimilate, should NOT be GRANTED any "British Citizenship" in the first place. Does it not beg the question that if they do NOT accept OUR values and OUR Laws, then WHY have they even come here ? ? There are MANY other countries to choose from that WILL have compatible values to their own. But NOT HERE

@MrMarcy76 Same here. I have several friends who came here BECAUSE of our ways and traditions, such as religious tolerance, and have integrated completely. Yet people coming here to ABUSE everything our people BUILT and paid into all their working lives irks me somewhat. And trying to CHANGE our peaceful tolerant culture to that of the one they have LEFT, is a complete Oxymoron. Where would that leave THEM if we DID become an intolerant, corrupt and extremely violent culture ? ? ? Has THAT ever been thought through ? ?

@cynthiamorris1874 TOTALLY ! ! They should not even be GRANTED "Citizenship" until they have EARNED it. Compulsory test after 6 months - 1 year, and ONLY if someone has learned English and ASSIMILATED into OUR culture, do they get "Citizenship" and, AFTER proof of employment AND contributions, ANY access to Benefits. And ANY Criminality at ANY time should = instant revocation of "citizenship and immediate Deportation
