And it is hilarious how you CONTINUE to ignore that Israel had existed well over 3,000 years ago, is mentioned repeatedly in the Bible yet "palestine" NEVER is ! ! The fact that there was NEVER any “palestinian state” in the west bank and east jerusalem when the Arabs HAD these territories FOR 1200 YEARS, also raises a lot of "awkward" questions about the modern demands of the Arab world to “establish a palestinian state there”, and not having done so BEFORE they lost it in their previous wars of colonisation and unprovoked aggression. Ipso facto, NO such state of "palestine" EVER !.....Unless you are referring to Gaza ? "Palestine" being the Anglo corruption of Philistine/ Philustuine فلسطين, used BY the Romans as an insult and Philustuine was always what is now GAZA ! HENCE why Israel RIGHTLY pulled OUT of Gaza /Philustuine in 2006, as THAT is the only place that could legally have any claim to be "Palestine". Israel could NOT have any claim to that area then, hence Hamas have been in TOTAL control of that area for the last 17 YEARS...... Again, NO "occupation" there AT ALL. "palestine" HAS been free for 17 YEARS with FREE electricity from Israel,....... UNTIL the HAMAS atrocities this weekend. Now all will change thanks to Hamas.

  4.  @1701_FyldeFlyer  Exactly ! 1/3 of the Mandated Protectorate of Palestine AND Transjordan was allocated to the Jews, while the OTHER 2/3 was allocated to the ARABS and became JORDAN. The Arabs have NEVER accepted Israel's existence ON that 1/3 that had ALWAYS been theirs !

  5.  @1simonruss  The Jews fled from surrounding Arab countries because of the Anti Semitic pogroms inspired in them by the Islamic Grand Mufti, Amin al-Husseini, from 1929 onwards, who himself had been inspired by Hitler's beliefs. Amin al-Husseini, had LIVED in Berlin and worked WITH the Nazi government throughout the war, so it was no surprise when he and others carried those ideas on after 1945, insitigating similar persecution against any returning Jews and the Jews still living in Mandated palestine WHO HAD NEVER LEFT ! That culminated in the 1947 War.
