We LEARN that "containment" from loving parents who are not AFRAID to tell us NO. Then we learn that word "NO!" can come from a person who still loves you. This lad clearly did NOT have that good parenting. Giving kids EXCUSES for bad behaviour and NOT containing their emotions ENABLES these horrendous incidents !
