I just wondered why no helicopters that is fire fighting helicopters could have dumped water on the towers. Some of the helicopters have hoses attached to them. That could spray inside of that damaged big hole area. My guess is if that had happened, the towers would have kept up. You would have had to have the helicopters hovering though in one spot. With water near by though you would just make lots of picking ups and dumpings. Another thing I wondered too is why they couldn't repel ladders down to people from the windows. I mean ladders from a helicopter. If you go to google type in under images ladder attached to helicopter you'll see what I mean. Then try to get very close to the building. Then pull as many people up as you can. I don't think any of those option anyone thought of.

@ThePenguinMann probably not had the right equipment. I know there was one helicopter that went out that was going to try to land on the building....but there was too much smoke. Then there was no access to the roof top for people

@kinley20061 It looked like the smoke was going more upwards though. That would have been my first to go. Then again maybe they didn't have fire fighting helicopters available.
