With enough progressive Democrats Manchin won't matter because they won't need his vote.

@falconquest2068 Unfortunately I don't expect the Dems to pick up seats in the midterms and they would have to in order to make Manchin irrelevant.

@FakingANerve It doesn't have to be WV but they did like Bernie Sanders because he's economically left wing.

It's not even worth passing in the stripped down version if you really unpack what's left so the Democrats need to go to passing voting rights with a carve out in order to avoid filibuster since they won't get rid of it entirely although with enough carve outs it will probably eventually go away.
