  3.  @atrociousconsequences4432  A large part of that vision was reality in the United States during the early part of my life and an even bigger and bolder but similar vision is a reality in the Norwegian countries. Several parts are reality in Canada and Germany so don't tell me there is no basis in reality although if you're much younger than I am and haven't traveled I understand why you wouldn't know that. Did you know that we once had both a socialsist party and a communist party in the United States although that was even before my time. I know a few WW2 veterans who are from the last living generation to have experienced that. They were smaller political parties like today's Libertarian and Green parties and often teamed up with labor leaders in order to increase the power of all three for issues of mutual interest like applying pressure on FDR in order to get the New Deal enacted which brought about a large and thriving middle class that lated several decades besides pulling the country out of the Great Depression. The capitslist class tried to organize a military coup over the outrage of paying taxes in order to pay for the New Deal but chose to approach General Smedley Butler to lead it. The General, being a socialist, went straight to FDR with the plan and it was prevented. Did you learn that in history class? Probably not, but it all happened.

  4. Trump isn't the problem. He's a symptom of "normal". Therefore "normal" is the problem and will bring us someone far worse far too soon if we go back to neoliberal austerity policies which I don't consider normal at all but we've been stuck with it since the 80s.
