  1. Boeing's factory in Washington is the largest building on Earth, those machinists make up 20% of the overall workforce and are integral to production. Any plan to move out of Washington would take decades to realise, time that the machinists can spend getting paid well and looking for other jobs if it becomes evident

  6. Boeing was profitable for years before and still they didn't give their workers any raises for over half a decade. Management compromised on quality by outsourcing without sufficient QA, these machinists have done everything right, no one has to work for shitty wages
