  1. Fuel is only cheap because of the Saudi-Russian oil trade war and covid. Sooner or later we're going to need electric planes

  2.  @appa609  for commercial passenger jet aircraft yes absolutely, but as for prop aircraft the technology for that is already catching up. Perhaps one day replacements for aircraft like the Dash-8, King Air and Cessna Caravans will be electric. Whatever it is fuel will become less used or replaced entirely
