Well for 1. it was pretty damn hard to do a mass shooting with a musket that required an extensive reload after every shot where as now we've got semi automatics and automatics with 30 round magazines And for 2. yes knife crimes exist but the figures are clear (atleast comparing the UK to the US), fewer people die from knife crime and gun crime when there's gun restriction than knife and gun crime when there isn't any restriction. No plan is bullet proof but this has the figures to support it And for 3. yes we have banned knives. Go to a large concert in the UK, go on a plane, go to a bustling tourist site and you'll find that knives aren't allowed in most cases

@jordansmith4040 1. yes but there wasn't a war on terror in the 1960s, there wasn't the widespread mainstream media outlets and social media accessible to every single person that could completely televise such events. Mass shootings rose not just because there were more guns, but because there was more news coverage and because these sick gunmen knew that they could idolise themselves 2. What constitutes a solution to you? 0% gun deaths and 0% knife deaths because that just won't happen, we're always going to live in a society where a very small portion will try and go gun ho and innocent people. We can lessen that problem by investing in education, mental health, stop them from having dangerous weapons and tons of policies but we'll never have anything fool proof, what we do have though is statistics and even if America is willing to pay the price for that sense of freedom in having a firearm not every country is. I want just as much as you for shootings and stabbings to stop, I just have a difference of opinion on how we get as close to that reality as possible

How many people can you kill with a fire extinguisher?

What very real possibility is there that the Australian government will open fire on its citizens, what do you have to support that claim?

The fact that you won't dignify this video by watching just proves your own minority. If you're not even willing to listen to the other side of the coin then you're not really fit to decide policy

Relishing in the thought of killing people if they dare try to do a Covid lockdown back in 2020 or gun reform is probably why gun reform is happening
