He's an historian who's been studying human society for years. Safe to say he knows how it operates

@ldc5603 uh yes it does mean that exactly have yoy forgotten the quote "if we do not learn from the mistakes of our past we are doomed fo repeat them in the future"
2
@ldc5603 the fact is many millions of americans want benefits such as affordable healthcare and education and these won't come unless government can up it's revenue so it has to be higher taxes and more benefits or not
2
@ldc5603 1) Yes millions. According to The Hill 70% of americans support some version of medicare for all. 70% of a population of over 300 million people you do the maths 2) yes I agree only Americans born or naturalised should benefit from this I don't know why you'd bring that up 3) AOC is a congresswoman I fail to see how her university education failed her 4) Education is not limited to universities and colleges. There are plenty of colleges that teach trades and other vital skills to an economy. If they were free or at the very least more affordable the situation would greatly improve

10% lol okay well while you're freaking out about that I'll be enjoying my free healthcare, free education, required pay leave and low food prices that my taxes get me
2
What further context do you need
2
How so
2
Higher taxes are paid to ensure that people with power and wealth are restricted so that people with very little can have a greater opportunity to enter the middle class This way extremely wealthy people have to pay more without it impacting on theur livelihood so that everyone can have access to basic services
2
@genejeffries2888 no that works in capitalism and social democracies there's a reason Europe's people are far better off than America's
2
Fearmongering Fox is the other way

Typical trumptard response

Well your flat rate idea is unpractical and unused for a reason
1
How is that bias
1
Did you see the video where a guy from Denmark replies and completely destroys a Fox News attempt to undermine Denmark. Hell it was hilarious
1
Bold enough to admit he purposefully didn't air an interview that showed his true colours when he got increasing pressure from everyone because the interview had been leaked. You don't get respect for admitting to something when you've been caught hook, line and sinker
1
You honestly think they're going to stop getting views

@Crimsonfangg not in a thousand years
1
@Crimsonfangg the New York Times has been around since 1851 and is bigger than ever. There's nothing cult like about it they provide a service that people want
1
@Crimsonfangg I'm not here to argue with you about narratives all I'm doing is telling you these organisations are here to stay and if you don't like it then don't support them
1
@Crimsonfangg unlike you I base my arguement on facts not assumptions Fact 1: the NYT was founded in 1851 Fact 2: the NYT readerbase is at its highest point in history Conclusion: since the NYT is 168 years old AND has an ever increasing reader base the only reasonable conclusion that can be drawn is that it will continue to operate for the foreseeable future (far more than 15 years)
