It was failing long before that

There was no red anything

He's hated because he's a controversial marketer. Elon didn't invent multi-use rockets, or write the software for PayPal, or design the Starlink system. He is adept at getting investors to pitch in to his plans and hiring industry leading engineers and machinists which is absolutely necessary, but he's also trying to foster this nerd genius persona about himself to the media and people caught on, well before this election season. People will hate him for political reasons, but regardless he's not an engineer, he's not an inventor, he is an expert marketing mogul.

AMERICAN PATRIOT there's the troll. I knew a civil reply section couldn't exist

I did.... the sum total is 0

I'd say buying twitter was his biggest mistake, one he's trying to correct, but a mistake nonetheless
1
Believe it or not journalists have always scrutinised how obscenely rich billionaires treat their staff. Jeff Bezos doesn't get a free pass, his Amazon warehouses are infamous.
1
I wouldn't say he's a genius, he's a marketing mogul for sure, but I've never actually seen him invent new groundbreaking technology or revolutionise a product. He's an expert at marketing though
1
@Renegade-Master-88 ...he didn't create PayPal, he acquired a company that already developed PayPal, just under a different name, they repackaged, rebranded and marketed it. That's what he does, marketing. Plus a tour is a speech, it's rehearsed. He's a marketing mogul for sure, but I wouldn't say he's a genius. He made way too many mistakes when he started talking about software, but he is undeniably charismatic
1
He's private sector, not public

Believe it or not we have rights for a reason

NATO vs BRICS

@crocs4304 economic and milifary alliences go hand in hand

They announced they were going to do that back in December, Trump got a bit of extra on top and claimed victory for the whole package
1
@corryburton9252 can't argue the point do you've got to distract with pointless bravado huh? You know once upon a time republicans were brave, not cowards who bragged about selling out their allies to the enemy and blaming the country that was invaded for not surrendering sooner.
1
...you mean like the one who owns his own repair shop

Harris learnt well that unity and political stances were more important than identity politics. Trump still thinks he's debating Clinton, I've heard him mention Harris' race and sex 5 times as much as Kamala has, he's making mistakes and it's costing him
1
How is he a victim? He's the richest guy in the world
1
Since when?
1
Yeah you would, not a unanimous one but a majority one regardless.
1
You realise that would create the worst inflation in the country since the Great Depression, would completely alienate the US from its allies and would take decades to actually see noticeable job improvement if that policy wasn't immediately backtracked on. You can't build a steel mill or a manufacturing plant in a few months, it takes years.
1
Why would they be the worst employees? You can't really expect anyone working for Tesla to speak out against Elon, he'd fire them in an instant
1
Because he's one of the greatest artists in history, a guy famous for his singing and dancing, something that's hardly ever seen
1
They were analysing the effects of the COVID pandemic on all economies worldwide, the US actually had some of the lowest inflation among western countries
1
What would such an agenda achieve, there's no financial incentive there. No, more likely they were moderators who were there to keep advertisers happy by keeping the app relatively under control, and now that they're gone so is most of the ad revenue
1
Exactly, it's their baby, they will drop you at a moment's notice if you're not nurturing their baby enough. It's never your baby, you will never reap the benefits the way they will, so don't ever think it's your baby too.
1
People don't typically have a wait and see attitude when it comes to politics, especially when that involves heavy inflation here and now

1. Unemployment rate is at its lowest point in recent decades and Trump plans to have millions of illegal immigrants expelled, where is your workforce that is supposed to compensate for these new jobs? 2. Tariffs will increase inflation in the short term, the long term trade off of building new jobs would require decades of sticking to that plan and there not being an administration change in 4 years. 3. "Everyone needs to make sacrifices" why? Haven't we sacrificed enough, after Covid, after the housing crisis, after the cost of living crisis. Haven't we sacrificed enough, I'm tired of politicians telling us to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps because it's always the same. 4. Alienating the US from its allies could cut both ways, what happens if Mexico and Canada decide that China is a more reliable trading partner than the US? Empires don't remain on top through isolationism.

Wdym? Aldi's one of the best paying supermarkets to its employees
1
The tyranny of censorship? You mean how like one unelected billionaire controls one of the biggest social media platforms on Earth, bans the words and people he doesn't like, and promotes the people and politics he does on it. Or Trump, the guy who wants to dismantle the department of Education and its 500 million dollar budget that goes to underdeveloped schools, grants to high performing children in low income families and the only federally protected student loan system in the country? Yeah can't wait to cut that overspending, let those 18 year olds deal with the private corporations making whatever deals they want for student funding, that'll end well.
1
What happened to the free market?
1
Then they should have gone to university for 4 years and gotten masters degrees along with all the student debt and sacrifices. Just because you'd rather be in someone else's shoes, doesn't mean they're being treated fairly either.
