  5. The world's superpowers have always throughout history sought dominance over the world. The persians did it, the romans did it, the british did it, the americans are doing it and now china is trying to do it

  7.  @doniel2008  you forget that historical documentation gives no right and shouldn't give any rights for a country to claim an area. The roman empire stretched from britian to turkey but that doesn't mean the italian government can now lay claim to those lands. Also China is a part of the UN dismissing your analagy. If a bunch of your neighbours banded together to form a group and you wanted in then yes you have to abide by the group's rules or leave. China us attempting to take total dominance of the South China See and that's not right nor fair to all the other countries that neighbour the SCS
