@CitrusPeppercorn you are either stupid or evil. Apartheid South Africa was the worst. The economy was suffering from sanctions. The onslaught and human rights violations against anyone who wasn't white were atrocious. What the government did was evil. South Africa today isn't getting destroyed by black people but by corruption. Corruption doesn't care about race, sex or religion and corruption is what is destroying South Africa

@MAnnnooo1 I disagree I'm a citizen of Ireland, a very successful socialist country, and can say that socialism done right can and has worked. Corruption occurs in all types of state. Capitalism, communism, socialism it doesn't matter

@MAnnnooo1 all the facts you have listed aside from the tax rate are irrelevant. Ireland has free healthcare, free education, higher tax rates for the rich than for the poor. Ireland has a solid pension plan and minimum wage. Being socialist means you want a nation that is invested in protecting the people and businesses won't do that but government does. It's about mixed market so yes Ireland is a socialist nation. Also when you said 6th most capitalist please provide a link. We're obviously getting our information from different sources

My opinion. Socialsim is a great system if implemented properly. Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Finland, New Zealand and Canada are all successful socialist countries. The key to successful socialism is a mix of power. The free market and state share power. Socialism is NOT communsim Socialism is NOT capitalism Socialsim is a mix of both
