@FosterFarmsOk no, but fear isn't the point, do you fear the Russians for what they have done in Ukraine, or do you wish for them to be defeated. America need not be feared, as long as it is known for having a vast, determined and properly funded military

@FosterFarmsOk I understand your concern but it really doesn't matter. Fear does not compel other nations back down, it has the opposite effect, look at Israel, they have a vast professional army, mandatory national service, and are known to crack down hard on terrorism, but it didn't matter in the end. Being seen as a professional yet peacekeeping force is the best impression America can choose to give
