Yes, I was one of the people who praised him a couple years ago, then he devolved into a fcking meme machine and threatened to overthrow my government. Unlike you it seems, I judge people based on their actions, and his actions are reprehensible, so I scrapped my plans of buying a Tesla.

Gold isn't liquid money either, every system of currency requires a societal acceptance and adherence to it. It just so happens that the system these days is a lot more volatile due to everyone's access to information which can very dramatically affect their faith in the system.
