  12. I think it's because: 1. Men provide a more entertaining match given that they're faster and stronger 2. The vast majority of sports watchers are men so it's natural they would watch sports that feature their own sex 3. Where as watching sport is huge in the stereotypical man's entertainment the same can't be said for women
