I have been programming computes for a decade now, and I haven't felt any improvement in my cognitive abilities. I doubt if we can significantly improve your "brain power".

@immasavage2905 Lol dude. Not at all. I am a senior engineer and lead teams, architect apps. You can't do this just by copy pasting. I also do competitive programming which requires deep thinking and problem solving skills.

@immasavage2905 No it's just that I haven't seen much improvements in the areas I struggle with. I can't keep many things in mind at the same time, probably less than an average person could. And this does affect my work also. In programming lot of times we are required to store a lot of things at the same time in our working memory (kind of like RAM). But if you have less working memory like me then you will spend more time than required to complete the same task. And I haven't felt any significant improvements in my working memory over these years, even though I have been stressing it daily.

@feynmanschwingere_mc2270 I know three different languages since I was a kid. Though I only know one programming language.
