5:50 Better skip this part if you don't want Black Widow spoilers. ππ

Another take? Bring it on!! π€©π€©

Postfeminism is easily comparable to postracism. Both era's are yet to come. Denying their existence just exacerbates the problem.
15
One thing that was VERY noticeable: they're all VERY out of touch but it repeated and shown with examples ad nauseam. I hope the whole show won't be as identity politics as that first episode, 'cause man it was VERY cringeworthy at times.
15
If it makes you feel any better, when I think of The Help, I definitely saw 'the help' in the center of attention. Not the writer.
15
"Do you have to be depressed to write a sad song? "Do you have to be in love (or brokenhearted) to write a love song?" "Is a song better if it really happened to you?" To all of the above: absolutely. π―%

Such a great actress. Truly amazing. β₯οΈ
14
Pretty sure you're not aware what 'pandemic' actually means. But hey, we at least got your point.
13
The Take has been on a roll ever since its conception, tbh. :)
13
YOU are not failing. The Take, however, is. You're doing a wonderful job, I'm sure! Much respect! πππ₯°π€©π₯

Sex Education confirmed for another season so the coming out won't be an end. ππ
12
0:17 "To remind everyone in my neighborhood that I'm the main character in my neighborhood" Wow, girl, that rhyme was tight! π³π³
11
I was like, huh, South Park? So TimothΓ©e goes by 'Timmy'? Good to know. :D
11
Β @Devngel653Β we all agree except for that guy above that thinks endings to sitcoms don't matter. π
11
"I'm about to go where... Many men have boldly gone before." Lmao, this. π πππ
11
Damn, that take was cold. Ice cold!
10
I'm a real fan of Pamela Anderson. A true power woman. ππ SO much more than meets the eye!!
10
Even as 'the former sons of X and the former sons of Y' sit together at the same table at the end of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, a black woman servant/help walks in to serve them ... So much for a lovely meal amongst equals. π€¦ββοΈ I don't think MLK articulated like that. π
10
Β @veronicasardo76Β <3 That was so sweet. You too, bi the way!
10
13:02 - 13:09: Julie wasn't denied her happy ending. She found Russ!
9
But I can see why people have a problem with me saying it is only unrealistic by "today's" society. Of course it has been like this since a very long time, so change is looooooong overdue.
8
No. It is the take ITSELF that is wrong. If this is the audience's reaction, then obviously they're not catering to them, so who is this for? For Kate's PR team which undoubtedly paid royally for this. It's a bad take, it should be taken down. Pointing the finger at the commenters is next to the point.
8
Β @aadityabhattacharyaΒ yessss that was an awesome finale holy sh**!! πππ
8
1:37 "Bimbo summit" So wrong and so denigrating on so many levels. π€π€
8
0:58 "This film is incredibly diverse, intersectional and (...) about overcoming suppression." Jezus, can you answer with even more woke buzzwords?? Such a prepared answer wow.
7
Always thought she was the most genuine character out there. Except when she wasn't. π€·ββοΈ
7
It's definitely Keanu Reeves. He is the One.
7
Who the f*** EVER thought he was the TRUE villain when you had Meryl Streep's portrayal of Miranda Priestly?? π―π²
7
GIVE US CHAIR V DAIR VIDEOS!!
7
Β @Victrola66Β as someone else said, you can't compare "doing her royal duties" to "the commoners doing an ACTUAL job". This Take is bad and you shouldn't try to defend it.
7
π΅ Penny Lane, is in my ears and in my eyes! π΅ β₯οΈ
7
Agreed. It's a Good Place to start from ... Badum tss π
7
17:25 "HΓ© does know; he just doesn't know he knows yet." Lmao, you pulled a Janice!! "You love me, Chandler. And you know it. You just don't know, you know it!" π π€£π€£

Β @Kino_CartoonΒ π

No Eliska, stop prepping her up, it ain't flying. This Take is bad and it should be taken down. Just like the monarchy itself.
7
Read this while listening to Antonio Banderas singing ('Evita'). Quite the coincidence! ππ
6
Can you do one about the mockumentary trope? :)
6
Ooooh ! - Ooh what? - ... ma Thurman!
6
π―%. Just look at what Meghan had to endure once she wasn't willing to play ball anymore.
6
Too bad take to let slide. π€·ββοΈ
6
He was just really distraught and drunk. I can understand him, since it has happened to me. It's not that you WANT to do such a terrible thing, you're just totally out of your element and can't think straight. It definitely does not make him love Rachel less. On the contrary, it shows how heartbroken he was by it all.
6
I'm sure you happier for it.
6
Now there's a trope I can sink my teeth in. :-)
6
Β @gaesimp__Β ππ
6
Think you should retake this take, especially regarding the end. I'm still often at a loss about it haha. And I'm sure you guys would be able to explain it perfectly. But 7 minutes isn't long enough. :D
5
The Devil wears Prada is a magnificent movie! Meryl Streep was unbelievable. ππ
5
@semi π can we stop being so PC we're offended by every single thing? Thanks.
5
Is there a thing like the internet girlfriend? π€π€
5
I'd love to watch this til the end but at 1:56 I suddenly realized I had to watch The Watermelon Woman. Not sure where that came from ... π€π
5
OMG he even laughed at his own joke!! π π€£π€£ So cute hahaha
